Introduction to a superstar

“Ego kills knowledge as knowledge requires learning and learning requires humility..”
   From Romania to the streets of Beckenham to a 5x world bikini champion, Anca is a real success story. With 2 sons and a full home life (she isn’t afraid to get up early, hoover the house and get her children to school before training, meal prepping and her personal training session), she has risen from interested in health to stage champion!
   As she found a love of training, she found it was her way of daily therapy, keeping her positive mindset and setting her attitude to life to the maximum everyday.
   She credits her amazing support network  – via her husband and family – to her success.
   Once she recieved her fitness and nutrition qualifications she was able to pursue her dream of helping young girls understand their bodies and strive for healthy lifestyle to look after their minds and bodies.
Anca loves being on stage but also fully understands the dedication it takes to get there. It is 100% dedication and can be extremely lonely, but the results show once the 1st steps are taken to face the cheering crowds.

 

REALITY IS RELATIVE

In her 20’s she was a size 6 who was was fit & healthy, running and enjoying life – now though, she has built her body through diet & training and loves how she looks! Looking back on those days she appreciates it may have been ideal to some (including herself) but now in her 30’s, she embraces the curves & new shape she has discovered through having her 2 sons. But she also appreciates- through building her body to be pleasing to the eye as well as realistic in the real world for her life now.

 

A REASON TO SMILE

CHAMPION, AGAIN!

   On the 26th June, 2021, Anca set foot on stage once again. She had a title to defend and was chasing her own dreams and aspirations. The ‘PURE ELITE © professional athlete shows’ are full of glitz and glamour, toned physiques and smiles, tears, success and defeat. 

   How you judge defeat is personal, the same way how you accept successes. For some it is hitting a weight loss goal, for others it is the number shown on your bank account. For Anca, success was always getting back on the stage during a worldwide pandemic and nationwide lockdown. With restrictions in place that limited her training and the shadow of doubt cast over the ability to compete, have spectators in attendance and be ready mentally – she powered on! 

   The competitors in this years field were of a high level. They had all sacrificed, scraped and clawed their way to the (now open) gym and turned up on the day ready to show that toughness isn’t always physical.

   That grit, determination and drive which was evident in her daily life was on full display. She shone, she won, she succeeded and she wore her tiara like the champion she truly is. AGAIN!

   An amazing accomplishment for anyone, but Anca isn’t anyone. She is the same as everyone. You see…..after the exhilaration of trophies, cheers, applause, tiara’s & taking a bow (again & again) she got to enjoy her food, she got to enjoy her friends & family and she enjoyed being the queen of the stage, then she became ‘us’ again. The school run beckons, the hoover needs running around & her clients are waiting for that professional touch again. Oh, maybe a quick photo shoot here & there, but at the end of the day, she is one of us. She is one of you  (she just wears a tiara on occasion).
